That’s why we’re bringing best local groups, charities, and friendly experts together under one roof for a completely free, informal morning out on Tuesday 29th September, from 10:00am to 12:30pm at St George’s Church in Ashtead.
Whether you’re looking to plan ahead for the future, curious about local social groups, or seeking guidance on care and wellbeing support, this morning is designed entirely around you and your family.

- Ian Smith, Chair of the NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board (ICB). Ian will be talking about the future of Adult health and care services and the changes taking place across the NHS to make services work better for local communities.

- Elder Care Consulting – later-life advice and guidance
- Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead – support to live well and independently at home
- Dan Stoneman from Surrey County Council, Head of Older People’s Commissioning and Connected Care. Dan will be talking about the future of services for older people in Surrey, including the changes coming with the new East and West Surrey councils and how technology could play a bigger role in helping people stay independent at home.
- Turner’s Oak – advice and support for older homeowners, including downsizing
- Grey Matters – information and guidance around Attendance Allowance
- Carers Practice Advisor with Adult Social Care – supporting unpaid carers by undertaking providing information and advice, helping carers access support services, and working with partner organisations to promote carers’ wellbeing and ensure their voices are heard.
- Surrey Police & the Safer Neighbourhood Team – providing advice and support on staying safe in the community, including scam and fraud awareness, doorstep crime prevention, and helping local residents know where to turn for support.
