Radfield Home Care Tarporley & Mid Cheshire is delighted to share the latest update from the Reggie the Radfield Teddy campaign, a community initiative that brought smiles across Tarporley. The campaign also helped raise £735 for OPAL (Older People Active Lives) Tarporley, supporting older people across Mid Cheshire.
After weeks of excitement, raffles and visits to local businesses in Tarporley, Reggie has now set off on a brand new adventure and into his new home.
The lucky winner recently visited us with his Dad to collect Reggie, and it was a truly heartwarming moment for everyone involved. Seeing Reggie handed over in person perfectly captured what this campaign represented for our community, bringing people together, creating shared experiences, and spreading joy across Tarporley.
We know Reggie will be loved and well looked after in his new home, and we could not be happier to see him begin this next chapter.
Thanks to the generosity of the Tarporley community, the raffle raised an outstanding £735 for OPAL Tarporley. These funds will directly support OPAL’s Activity Club, helping to provide companionship, social activities, hot meals and transport for older people living in Tarporley and the surrounding Mid Cheshire area.
Geoff Hope Terry, Chair of OPAL Services, joined me to proudly share the total amount raised. It was a proud moment that highlighted the strength of local support for charities helping older people stay connected in their own community.

From everyone at Radfield Home Care Tarporley & Mid Cheshire, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, shared Reggie’s journey, and supported this local fundraising effort.
