Winter in Crosby is about to get a whole lot warmer! This November, Radfield Home Care Liverpool North, Sefton & Ormskirk is teaming up with Azul Monkey Coffee Shop in Crosby to launch a new Winter Warmer Initiative.
Designed to support local clients, care staff, and families through the colder months, this community partnership focuses on bringing people together over warm drinks, delicious food, and friendly connection.
The idea was developed by Radfield Home Care Director Denys Hall, alongside co-Director Dave Bellis. Recognising that winter can bring increased isolation and practical challenges for older adults and carers, the initiative focuses on delivering extra kindness and social connection across Crosby and the surrounding Sefton region.
“We wanted to create something practical that brings people together during what can be a challenging time of year for many. We’re really excited to be
working with Azul Monkey Coffee Shop and are looking forward to seeing the positive impact the initiative has on our staff, clients, families and the wider community.”
The partnership with Azul Monkey Coffee Shop in Crosby is an important part of the initiative, with the owners and their team equally excited to be involved and help create a welcoming community experience.
The collaboration comes at an exciting time for Azul Monkey, with the business also expanding into the neighbouring premises. The expansion will provide a dedicated space for delicious takeaway treats, freshly prepared and cooked on-site in a state-of-the-art environment, adding another exciting dimension to the local offering.
Both Radfield Home Care and Azul Monkey are looking forward to welcoming members of the community and sharing more about what the Winter Warmer Initiative will offer. More information will be announced soon, including full details of how people can take part.
