How One Team Member Progressed from Care Professional to Supervisor

Today, we are celebrating Donna, who has shown remarkable dedication and progression over the past four years.

Donna’s Journey: From Care Professional to Field Care Supervisor Staff Lead

During the past 12 months, Donna has developed from Care Professional to Senior Care Professional and now into the role of Field Care Supervisor Staff Lead. When the senior position became available, Donna embraced the opportunity and received thorough training and ongoing support from our office team in Wakefield and Huddersfield.

Through her commitment and continued learning, she has spent the last six months strengthening her supervisory skills and has successfully stepped into this leadership role.

Alongside her progression, Donna has also completed her Level 3 in Health and Social Care, something we actively encouraged and supported her through. This reflects our belief that high quality home care starts with well supported, well developed colleagues who feel confident in their work.

Donna joined us looking for a purposeful career that fitted around family life. As her children have grown older, she has taken on greater responsibility and pursued her ambition to progress into senior roles within our organisation. She has also recently celebrated four years of service, marking an important milestone in a genuinely inspiring career journey.

Developing in my career has made me feel incredibly proud of myself. The support from the whole office team has meant the world. Each person has helped me reach this point, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity.
