Gliding down the River Dee aboard the Lady Diana cruiser surrounded by retro outfits, classic music, and laughter, our care team recently celebrated in true 70s and 80s style.
Swapping their daily routines for an evening on the water, it was a brilliant opportunity to get together outside of work, relax and enjoy each other’s company. There was plenty of dancing, singing along and some fantastic outfits, making it a night to remember.

Our Care Professionals spend their working days supporting clients in their own homes, so having time to come together socially is something we really value.
The boat party was a chance for everyone to relax, have fun and catch up away from their usual routines. It was lovely to see the team enjoying themselves and strengthening the friendships that make such a difference to our working environment.
Our Field Care Supervisor Maxine does a fantastic job of organising regular get-togethers for our team. From bowling nights and bingo to our 70s and 80s boat party, there is always an exciting event on the calendar to look forward to.
These get-togethers have proved very popular and are a great way to build team morale, create stronger relationships and make sure our Care Professionals feel part of a supportive team.
We know that working in home care is about more than the practical support we provide. It is about people, relationships and connection. Creating a positive environment for our team is an important part of that.

We want our Care Professionals to feel valued and supported in their roles. Alongside regular support, training and development opportunities, we offer a range of benefits designed to help our team build a rewarding career in care.
Whether someone is new to care or already has experience, we provide opportunities to develop their skills and make a real difference to the people they support:

Our purpose at Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port is to help our local community age well by remaining connected to the things and people that matter most. Our “Be There” philosophy encourages clients to be themselves, stay linked to their local area, and live life on their own terms.
The boat party was a lovely reminder that connection and companionship matter to all of us, including the people who make a difference to our clients every day.

Whether you are seeking CQC Outstanding home support for a relative or looking for a meaningful career with a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
