Kindness Day UK is celebrated nationwide annually on 13th November. It is a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms. World Kindness Day falls on the same day and unites people in kindness globally.

At Radfield Home Care Herefordshire & South Shropshire, this day is celebrated every day; kindness and caring are what we do. On Monday 13th November, the Radfield Home Care team visited all of their clients and the local sheltered homes with kindness gifts, presenting them with cards, flowers, chocolates and tins of biscuits; brightening the day with unexpected kindness.

Kiain McKean, Director of Radfield Home Care Herefordshire & South Shropshire explained, “Showing how much we care, and kindness to our clients and their families is our passion.  it’s our role in the community, and a responsibility we have as a  company. We do this every day, not just on World Kindness Day. The day gave us an opportunity to show that we are proud to care and proud to be doing the jobs we do. Our clients, are an extension of our family and we feel humbled to be in a position where we can celebrate this great day with gifts, acknowledging just how much we do care. We would also like to thank all of our clients and their families for being so lovely to work with.”

The kindness gifts and unexpected visits on Monday were appreciated throughout the local communities of Herefordshire and South Shropshire and created lots of smiles and joy.
