Fun day out by the River

Radfield Home Care Leicester East, Groby and Oadby came to the rescue last week to make one of our lovely clients, Mr.W, smile.

Responding quickly when a family needs a helping hand

Mr.W usually has a weekly outing with one of our Care Professionals. He really enjoys his companion care outings as they give him a change of scenery and someone new to talk with.

Last Friday, Mr.W’s daughter reached out to us as her dad said he was feeling lonely and she was unable to take time away from work. We knew Mr.W couldn’t spend the day feeling isolated, so we sprung into action!

Fish, chips, and a pint at Foxton Locks

We knew Mr.W had previously mentioned how much he wanted to visit Foxton Locks and enjoy the scenery and nature, so our Care Professional, Alison, drove him straight there.

Mr.W really enjoyed his fish and chips, and we can see why. How tasty does that look!! And look how happy Mr.W looks, Radfield Home Care Leicester East, Groby and Oadby certainly made his day.

And you can’t have fish and chips without a pint and a chat, so much so, Mr.W and Alison nearly forgot to pay the bill!
