At Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley, being part of our local community is incredibly important to us. We believe that staying connected, active and socially engaged can make such a difference to our wellbeing as we get older.
That’s why we’re delighted to continue our relationship with Glebelands Indoor Bowls Club, a fantastic local club at the heart of the community.
For the second consecutive year, Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley and Glyn Clark, Director of Radfield Home Care Camden, Islington & Haringey, have jointly sponsored Glebelands Indoor Bowls Club.
It has been wonderful to build this relationship together and support a club that provides such a welcoming environment for local people to stay active, socialise and form new friendships.
Our partnership is about much more than sponsorship. We share a genuine commitment to supporting people to remain active, independent and connected to their local community as they get older.
Glebelands provides a friendly and welcoming environment where people can enjoy indoor bowls, meet new people and stay active.
Activities like bowls aren’t simply about physical exercise. They can provide companionship, routine, friendship and a sense of belonging – all of which can have such a positive impact on our wellbeing.
These values closely align with our approach at Radfield Home Care. Through our BeThere philosophy, we want the people we support to continue doing the things they enjoy and remain connected to the people and places that matter to them.
Our relationship with Glebelands has also led to another exciting community initiative.
Together with Glyn and the Radfield Home Care Camden team, we are delighted to be holding our Age Well event at Glebelands Indoor Bowls Club on Tuesday 22nd September 2026.
The event will bring together local organisations and services under one roof, giving older people, families and carers an opportunity to discover some of the fantastic support, activities and resources available within our local community.
We are incredibly grateful to Glebelands for welcoming us and supporting our vision for the event.
At Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley, we believe great care goes far beyond the support someone receives at home. It’s also about helping people maintain their independence, friendships and connection to the wider community.
We’re delighted to continue supporting Glebelands alongside Radfield Home Care Camden and look forward to building on our partnership for many years to come.
