We are delighted to share the launch of our new day centre in Worcester, which officially opened its doors on Wednesday 17th September 2025. Designed to bring people together, our centre offers a welcoming place for older adults to enjoy companionship, creativity and care. At Radfield Home Care Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern, we believe that wellbeing thrives when people are connected to meaningful experiences, and our new centre has been created with that vision at its heart.
The launch event was a wonderful reflection of what our day centre will continue to provide. The day commenced with a friendly welcome meet-and-greet over tea and cakes, giving everyone the opportunity to feel at home straight away. An introductory session followed, allowing participants to get to know one another before enjoying a creative rock-painting activity. From seasonal motifs to animal-themed designs, the activity encouraged expression and conversation in equal measure.
After a morning of creativity, the group visited a local pub to share a traditional carvery lunch, embracing the spirit of community. The afternoon continued back at the centre with light-hearted balloon badminton, accompanied by coffee and conversation. It was a day that truly captured the essence of companionship in Worcester.
Our new day centre is more than just a venue; it is a supportive environment where people can connect, create and share experiences. As Sarah Underhill, our Care Manager and Adult Day Centre Coordinator, expressed:
