At Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead, we know that good care goes beyond practical support. It’s about emotional wellbeing, meaningful moments, and staying connected to the people and communities that make life rich.
That’s why we’re delighted to announce our new community partnership with The Matrix Charity — a brilliant local organisation supporting young people across Guildford Borough and wider Surrey. Matrix provides a lifeline to vulnerable and at-risk young people, offering mentoring, workshops, and wellbeing support in both schools and the community.
What really struck a chord with us is their focus on intergenerational connection, bringing together older and younger people in a way that’s uplifting, respectful, and full of heart. Whether it’s through community cafés, volunteering, or shared projects, they’re helping to build lasting relationships and mutual understanding across age groups.
Matrix is also a founding partner of the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, a collaboration of charities working to improve children and young people’s mental health across the county, and they play a key role in MindWorks Surrey, the local NHS children and young people’s mental health service.
As a family member supporting an ageing parent, you know how powerful these moments can be. How important it is to maintain a sense of connection and purpose in later life. Initiatives like these enhance the care we provide and open new doors for social engagement that truly matters.
We’re proud to be working alongside The Matrix Charity and look forward to exploring ways our clients and care teams can engage in this inspiring work.
