October brought plenty of companionship across our local community, from gentle exercise sessions and art classes to celebrating a 61st wedding anniversary with one of our client couples. Our office team also attended a local careers fair, speaking with secondary school pupils about long-term career pathways in adult social care.
Our recent Client and Staff Surveys brought overwhelmingly positive feedback, which we’re absolutely delighted with! It’s lovely to hear how positively clients and families feel about the support we provide, and how our team feel about working at Radfield.
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to share their feedback, and to our wonderful team for the kindness, commitment and care you bring to your roles every day.
A reminder that Careberry officially goes live on
Monday 2nd November, replacing Access Care Planning.
Clients and family members who would like access to Careberry should let the office know, and we’ll arrange for login details to be sent when the system goes live. We’ll be focusing on getting the team settled into the new system first, so family access will be arranged from the following week. If you need a hand with anything, please get in touch with the office so we can help.

The local Annual Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday 8th November at the Leatherhead War Memorial, North Street, starting at 10:30 am.
Please note that parts of Leatherhead town centre will be closed to traffic during the service.
At Radfield Home Care, we will take a moment of silence alongside our nation and show our appreciation for those who have served and those we have lost.
Do you find it difficult to hear everything in conversations? The Meeting Place runs friendly, supportive Zoom classes on Mondays during term-time, taught by an ATLA-qualified tutor. Classes show you how to use your visual sense to bolster your residual hearing, alongside practical tips on assistive devices, managing hearing loss and communicating with family and friends.

Discover the stories of people who fled Nazi Germany and found refuge in Surrey during the Second World War, thanks to the kindness and support of local residents. Visit this free exhibition at Dorking Museum on Saturday 7th November, 10am-4pm. No booking required.

We’re absolutely thrilled to be finalists in three categories at The Surrey Care Awards:
It’s a real achievement for our team and a lovely way to recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment that goes into what we do every day. We’re particularly proud to be recognised across these three categories, which reflect the quality of our care, the strength of our team and the culture we work hard to create.
The awards ceremony takes place in November, we’re incredibly proud to be finalists and wish everyone the best of luck on the night!
