Heart health

February was Heart Health Month, a reminder of how important it is to look after our hearts. And what’s good for our hearts is also good our brain! Staying active, eating nutritious meals, and keeping connected with friends and family all help support a healthy heart.

Our team love cooking from scratch, making meals with lots of heart-healthy ingredients. And with spring on the horizon and the days getting longer, we also enjoy getting out for short walks with our clients to boost energy and enjoy a bit of fresh air – if you’d like to join us just let us know!

Staff news

We’re delighted to welcome Jenny to Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead this month. She has already shown herself to be warm, thoughtful and naturally caring, with a calm presence that puts people at ease. We’re so pleased to have her as part of the team and look forward to the lovely relationships she will build with our clients and families.

This month’s highlights

This month has been full of highlights & shared interests. We’ve been learning a little Japanese together (always good to keep the brain active!), playing Scrabble on rainy afternoons with some help from our client’s cat Gismo, enjoyed bingo, coffee & cake catch-ups, & admiring a beautiful painting one of our clients created of their much-loved dog Pippin.

It’s been a lovely mix of creativity, companionship and gentle fun – and plenty more besides.
