Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead – November Newsletter

Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead – November Newsletter

Welcome to the November newsletter from Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead. This month we share practical tips for staying hydrated, introduce new staff, highlight local charities and support services, and provide updates on upcoming community events. We hope you enjoy reading and always welcome anything you would like to share for future editions.

Jelly Drops – A Fun Way to Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated is important, but it isn’t always easy. Jelly Drops are a simple, colourful way to help.

Made from 95 percent water with added electrolytes and vitamins, they are sugar-free and easy to eat. Many of our clients enjoy them not just because they help with hydration but because they look and taste good too. They are a small but fun way to make sure fluids are kept up every day.

Understanding Dementia

Dementia isn’t a single disease, but a collection of symptoms showing the brain isn’t working as it should. It can affect memory, thinking, behaviour and emotions. Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia and Lewy body dementia are the most common types, and each affects people in different ways.

Learning about these differences helps us provide the best possible support. Around one in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. If you are caring for someone with dementia, you are not alone. At Radfield Home Care, we provide personalised dementia care in Epsom and Leatherhead, and we are here to listen, guide and point you to the right support.
